Terms and Conditions
Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms apply when you use this website or ask Espelum-Spring Nigeria Ltd to work on an application for you. Using the site or submitting an application means you accept them.
What we do
We are an education consultancy. We help you choose a course and an institution, prepare and submit your applications, assemble the documents for a student visa, and stay with you through to departure. One consultant handles your case from the first enquiry until you land.
What we cannot promise
We cannot guarantee that you will be admitted, that you will be granted a visa, or that you will receive a scholarship. Those decisions belong to universities, colleges, embassies and high commissions, and they make them against their own criteria. Nobody can promise you an outcome, and you should be cautious of anyone who does.
What we are responsible for is the quality of our work: honest advice about where you realistically stand, an application that is complete and submitted on time, and telling you quickly when something changes.
Entry requirements, tuition fees, visa rules and processing times are set by others and change without notice. We pass on what we know to be current, but we cannot be held to a third party's published information.
What we need from you
- True information and genuine documents. A forged certificate or a false answer about a previous visa refusal can end an application, get you banned from a country for years, and damage the standing of every other student we represent.
- Prompt replies. Intakes have deadlines. If we cannot reach you, your application may miss one.
- Telling us when things change, including a new address or phone number, a result that differs from what you expected, or a decision to apply somewhere else.
If we find that information or a document you gave us is false, we will stop work on your application and may inform the institution concerned.
Fees
Submitting an application through this website is free. Where any service attracts a fee, we will tell you what it covers and what it costs in writing, and agree it with you before any work that depends on it begins. We will never take a payment you have not agreed to in advance.
Fees charged by third parties are separate from anything we charge, and are paid to them rather than to us. These include university application fees, visa and biometric fees, English test fees and courier costs. These are generally non-refundable by the organisation that collects them, whatever the outcome.
Tracking your application
You can follow your application's progress using the reference we send you and the email address you applied with. Keep that reference to yourself. Any status we show you reflects where we have got to, not a decision by an institution until one is actually made.
Your account of your experience
We may invite you to share your story once your application is complete. It is entirely optional, we publish it only with your explicit consent, and we take it down whenever you ask.
This website
The text, images and design of this site belong to Espelum-Spring Nigeria Ltd. University and institution names and logos belong to those institutions and appear to show who we work with. You may read, print and share our pages; please do not republish them as your own.
We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. Pages that link to other websites are a convenience, and we are not responsible for what those sites contain.
Liability
We are responsible for carrying out our own work with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for decisions made by institutions or immigration authorities, for changes in their rules or fees, for delays or losses caused by information you gave us late or incorrectly, or for anything outside our reasonable control. Nothing here limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending the arrangement
You can stop working with us at any time by telling us, and we will confirm where your applications stand. We may stop working on an application if information given to us turns out to be false, or if we cannot reach you for long enough that we can no longer act usefully on your behalf.
Your information
How we handle your personal information and documents is set out in our Privacy Notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version in force for your application is the one published when you submitted it.
